Fitonasal Nebulizer

Fitonasal Nebulizer is a product that clears the nose of dust, pollen and other allergens, fluidifies mucus, decongests and protects the nasal mucosa.

INDICATIONS
Fitonasal Nebulizer is a nasal spray indicated for the prevention and treatment of irritation, nasal congestion and itching caused by allergies, pollution and/or air conditioning, colds, flu-like syndromes, rhinosinusitis and rhinitis due to mechanical-obstructive causes (e.g. deviated septum), in both acute and chronic cases.
Fitonasal Nebulizer can also be used as an adjuvant treatment for coughs and sore throats caused by postnasal drip. The product can be taken from 6 years of age.

HOW IT ACTS
Fitonasal Nebulizer performs a physiological cleansing, decongestant and protective action as a result of the following mechanisms of action:

• Balanced osmotic
  Helps draw back water from congested tissues without causing irritation and dryness, through its balanced and standardised osmolality (600 mOsm/Kg).
• Local astringent
  It interacts aspecifically with certain inflammatory proteins found in the nasal fluid and enables their removal.
• Barrier
  It forms a film on the mucosa and protects it from contact with irritants, helping to maintain the integrity of the epithelial barrier.
• Antioxidant
  Reduces free radicals generated by inflammation of the mucosa.
• Deep cleansing
  Facilitates the removal of excess mucus and the pathogens, irritants and allergens trapped within it thanks to the continuous-flow nebulizer.

The formulation has a pleasant refreshing effect.

PACKAGING
Fitonasal Nebulizer comes in a container featuring a spray dispenser with bag on valve (BOV) technology, which contributes to the effectiveness of the product and offers multiple benefits:

• Easy to use - BOV technology enables a continuous flow of spray in all positions;
• Ergonomic - spray nozzle ideal for even the most delicate nostrils;
• Quality - the product is contained inside a bag that is isolated from the external environment, which allows product out, but does not allow air, liquids or other residues back in;
• Environmentally friendly - contains propellant gas (Nitrogen) that respects the Ozone layer.

Spray once per nostril at least twice a day, morning and evening and whenever deemed necessary.
It is also recommended to use the product in the evening before going to bed for a deep cleansing of the nasal cavities that promotes breathing during the night's rest.
Tilt your head to the side, insert the nozzle into the upper nostril and apply gentle pressure for a few seconds. Repeat the operation in the other nostril. Allow the product to diffuse into the nasal cavities. Blow your nose.

After each use, clean the nozzle with a clean, damp cloth and dry thoroughly.
Fitonasal Nebulizer can be used frequently and for prolonged periods because it does not contain vasoconstrictive decongestants, is not habit-forming, and does not irritate or dry out the mucosa.
If Fitonasal Nebulizer is used in combination with nasally applied medications, it is recommended that the two products be administered at least 1 hour apart.

1 ml of product contains: Tannisal^®-FL complex 0.9 mg, composed of Tannins and Flavonoids (LPME extractive fractions of Witch Hazel and Thyme - 0.7 mg) and Minerals (chemically untreated mined rock salt - 0.2 mg); Water; Vegetable glycerine; Natural aromas of Eucalyptus and Mint.

The extractive fractions contained in the product are obtained through a technological process, called LPME (Liquid-Phase Microextraction), developed by Aboca research.

Do not use in case of individual hypersensitivity or allergy to one or more components. Use nasally only. Avoid contact with the eyes, wash with water if necessary. If symptoms persist, however, consult your doctor or pharmacist.

SIDE EFFECTS
Fitonasal Nebulizer is generally well tolerated. However, if you notice any side effects that may be attributable to the product or its use, please inform your doctor and/or pharmacist, as well as the manufacturer Aboca at the contact details given in the package leaflet. In the event of a serious incident, please also notify the competent authority in your country.
