Clinical investigations promoted by Aboca are planned, designed and managed, ensuring the rights, safety and well-being of the participants in accordance with ethical principles, which have their origin in the Declaration of Helsinki.
For this reason, the initiation of a clinical investigation can only take place after approval by an ethics committees and, in specific cases, also by the Competent Authorities.
Real World Evidence
In addition, through post-marketing surveillance, we can ‘observe’ what happens in the real lives of those who use a given product and collect information on their user experience (Real-World Evidence).
Aboca conducts this activity through validated questionnaires submitted to the various stakeholders (e.g. patients, pharmacists and doctors) on a digital platform. Participants can express their opinion on their user experience of the product and contribute to its continuous improvement, for the benefit of all.
This data makes it possible to increase the clinical evidence of products on the market, generating additional information to support performance, quality, usability, tolerability and safety throughout their life cycle..
Pre-clinical studies, on the other hand, allow us to understand the interaction between complex natural substances and the body’s metabolism, through application of state-of-the-art techniques including genomics, transcriptomics and proteomics.
