Aboca Museum awarded by the Foreign Press

Saturday, 18 November in Asti, during the 14th edition of the “Premio del Gruppo del Gusto” (the Gastronomy Group Prize), the Aboca Museum was recognised by Italy’s Foreign Press Association.

Every year, journalists from the association award Italian wine, food and agriculture companies which stand out for the excellence of their traditions with five different prizes. One such prize is the Miglior istituzione per la conservazione del benessere e della salute (Best Institution for the Preservation of Wellbeing and Health).

The Aboca Museum explains how medicinal herbs have become a part of Italy’s food farming landscape and presents the age-old relationship between man and plants. Its goal is to integrate the wellbeing that comes from a proper diet with the right herbs to maintain our health. More than just a museum, the Aboca Museum is a place for reflection and a departure point for a new way to approach treatments”, stated journalist Milica Ostojic as she gave the award to the historic Aboca Museum in Sansepolcro.
