Aboca, the leading company in the herbal medicine sector, has created a new frontier in organic cosmetics: four innovative, effective and dermo-compatible Bio Creams that are suitable for skin types of all ages.

The freeze-dried plant extracts contained in these creams contain high concentrations of natural active ingredients and are skillfully dosed and combined with specific essential oils to create synergetic formulas, thereby ensuring functionality and efficacy. Moreover, the absence of chemically synthetic substances and excipients made from petroleum, parabenes and PEG guarantees maximum cutaneous dermo-compatibility.

These Bio Creams are made according to CCPB production standards for organic cosmetics which certify the use of raw materials from Organic Agriculture (Reg. CE 2092/91) and the use of natural ingredients or ingredients of natural origin with maximum dermo-compatibility and respect for the environment.

The line features four different products:

Arnica Bio Cream: refreshing and soothing, it is indicated in cases of intense athletic activity, physical exertion and muscle strain. Arnica flowers (Arnica Montana L.) are rich in sesquiterpenlactones, the active ingredients contained in the plant which have been demonstrated to have a beneficial effect on physiological muscle function, as testified to by their inclusion in some of the most important European Pharmacopoeia.

Calendula Bio Cream: with its eudermic and soothing actions, it is specifically indicated for cases of reddening and irritation of sensitive skin, especially in newborns and children, caused by external agents. Calendula flowers (Calendula Officinalis L.) are rich in flavonoids, functional active ingredients which soothe and decrease reddening of the skin.

Propolis Bio Cream: because of its protective action, it is indicated for skin that is exposed to external agents such as wind, cold, solar radiation, and daily exposure from work related activities. Propolis is rich in active ingredients and has dermo-nutritional, restorative and protective properties. The synergetic action that results with the addition of Aloe Vera leaf gel enhances the cream’s effectiveness.

Devil’s Claw Bio Cream: this cream is indicated for pain resulting from sudden movements, adverse climatic conditions and aging. Devil’s Claw is a naturally occurring plant native to the deserts of South Africa that is widely used in preparations intended to maintain joint mobility.
